Since December 2023 I have appeared sixteen times on Al-Qahera News, Egypt's state broadcaster, as a regular Korea commentator — providing live analysis from Seoul, principally on the current-affairs programme Al-Alam Sharqan (The World Eastward).
Arabic-language coverage of the Korean Peninsula draws on a small pool of analysts. These appearances make Korean security debates available to an audience that English-language Korea commentary does not reach — and, in turn, keep my own reading of the peninsula in conversation with Middle Eastern regional politics.
